Loveworld Consulate Limited provides approved business advertising, service promotion and networking opportunities through its faith-based community Website.
This Policy establishes the eligibility and publication standards for promotional content.
Business and professional service promotion is available exclusively to eligible paid members.
Community Citizens holding free membership are not entitled to use the Website's commercial advertising facilities.
Consul Plus members and eligible Partnering Ministries participants may apply for the promotional benefits included in their plans.
Merchant Registration and an active Consul Plus membership are required where an individual wishes to operate as an approved marketplace merchant.
Approved promotions may include:
Advertisers must ensure that promotional information is accurate, lawful and not misleading.
Advertisements must comply with applicable UK advertising, consumer protection and sector-specific requirements.
Advertisers must hold relevant licences, permissions or professional authorisations where required.
Paid advertising, sponsored articles, affiliate promotions and other commercial communications will be identified where required.
Advertising must not be presented misleadingly as independent editorial news.
The Company may review submissions before publication.
Approval may be refused where content is unlawful, misleading, unsafe or inconsistent with published advertising standards.
The Company may request supporting evidence for material commercial claims.
The Website may link to approved external merchants and service providers.
Users may complete transactions directly with those providers.
The relevant external provider is ordinarily responsible for its own sales and services, subject to applicable law and any separate obligations undertaken by the Company.
Approved merchants and customers may communicate and transact directly outside the Website.
The Company does not charge a 10% marketplace sales commission on independently completed off-platform transactions.
Merchant Registration fees remain payable according to the selected plan.
Complaints about misleading advertising, fraud or inappropriate merchant conduct may be submitted to Unitedkingdom@loveworldconsulate.org.
The Company may remove advertisements and apply relevant merchant enforcement procedures.
Two upheld merchant strikes may result in removal of selling or promotional privileges.
Serious misconduct may justify immediate action.
Advertising or membership does not guarantee sales, enquiries, customers, income or business success.
Advertisers must comply with applicable data protection and electronic marketing requirements.
Personal information must not be collected, shared or used unlawfully.
