Appropriate supervision, conduct requirements and reporting arrangements will be established according to the nature of the activity.
Where external organisations operate events advertised through the Website, the relevant organiser remains responsible for its own safeguarding arrangements, subject to any responsibilities retained by the Company.
Volunteers and other authorised representatives must comply with this Policy and relevant safeguarding procedures.
The Company will assess role-specific safeguarding requirements, including appropriate training, supervision and legally eligible criminal record checks.

We will consider whether immediate protective action or referral to statutory authorities is necessary.
We will not promise absolute confidentiality where information must be shared to protect someone or comply with the law.
Safeguarding information will be handled sensitively and shared only where appropriate and lawful.
Information may be shared with relevant safeguarding authorities, police or other appropriate organisations where necessary.
Safeguarding records will be stored securely with access restricted to authorised personnel.
Allegations involving directors, staff, volunteers, moderators or other representatives will be assessed impartially.
Where appropriate, concerns will be referred to relevant statutory authorities.
No person should investigate allegations against themselves.
The Company will consider necessary protective measures while respecting applicable legal rights and fair procedures.
