Loveworld Consulate Limited. Version 1.0.
Loveworld Consulate Limited promotes, publishes, coordinates and, where expressly stated, organises community, ministry and faith-based events through https://uk.loveworldconsulate.org.
This Policy establishes the arrangements for event listings, participation, booking, safeguarding, payments and complaints.
Events may include:
Events may be held online, in person or through a combination of both.
Each event listing should identify the organiser.
Where Loveworld Consulate Limited organises an event, the Company will identify its responsibilities.
Where an independent church, ministry, business or other organisation operates an event, that organisation is responsible for its event arrangements and applicable legal obligations.
Publishing an event does not automatically make Loveworld Consulate Limited its organiser.
Approved individuals and organisations may submit event information where permitted.
Submitted information must be accurate and include relevant dates, locations, registration requirements, prices and organiser details.
The Company may review, correct, reject or remove listings according to its published rules and applicable law.
Any member who has verified their identity may register for an approved public event. No paid plan is needed.
City Hub meet-ups are for members of that hub on Consul Plus or Partnering Ministries. Hosting an event needs one of those plans and a verified identity.
Some events, such as Espees Fairs, have their own open registration.
Any age limit, capacity limit or participation requirement is stated in the event's own details.
Participation in faith-based activities is voluntary.
Events on the Website are currently free, and payment is not taken for them on the Website. The rest of this section applies if a paid event is offered.
Where Loveworld Consulate Limited accepts event payments, the contracting organiser, total price, applicable charges, cancellation conditions and relevant consumer rights will be disclosed before booking.
Payment may be supported through Stripe or Espees where available.
If an event is cancelled or materially changed, the organiser and any booking intermediary must comply with their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the event, the contracting party and applicable law.
Certain leisure events scheduled for specific dates may be exempt from the usual 14-day distance-selling cancellation right. This does not remove rights arising from cancellation, misrepresentation or breach of contract.
Company-organised events must have safeguarding and safety arrangements appropriate to their activities and participants.
Particular consideration must be given to participants aged 16–17 and adults at risk.
Event organisers must comply with applicable venue, health and safety, safeguarding and other legal requirements.
Where participants submit prayer requests or personal information, the relevant privacy arrangements will be explained.
Sensitive information must be handled confidentially and lawfully.
Religious activities must not be used to exploit, intimidate or improperly pressure participants.
Event organisers must provide appropriate information about photography, filming and recording.
Personal information and images must be processed in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy requirements.
Additional safeguards may apply to children and sensitive activities.
Concerns relating to Company-organised events may be submitted to Unitedkingdom@loveworldconsulate.org.
For independently organised events, participants should ordinarily contact the named organiser, without prejudice to any responsibility retained by the Company.
